Luke, I beg to differ.  I have run 3d on my Nvidia cards, you just have
to download the driver from Nvidia just like the ATI.

If you want to run a free OS (eg, most people who use Linux?), nVidia
cards 
are 2D only. No 3D accel at all.

The Intel gfx should be good though :)
