Not in this universe. All Compaq DL360's -- both Gen 1 & Gen 2 --
use PC133 RAM and old-school PCI slots. The HP DL360's added
those new-fangled features somewhere down the road. I've got
two G1's in my basement and a buttload of 360's from various
eras at work. The G1's & G2's still run P3 CPU's, and are more
than adequate for most low-end SOHO network firewall duties.
You can also pick them up for pocket change, even with redundant,
hot-swap drives, power supplies, and cooling fans.
They also make good white noise generators if you don't install
the Proliant Support Pack to throttle down the fans.
