I've had a 770 for a few years and it's treated me great.  I don't use
it for much other than casual browsing, but for me the killer app is
ebooks.  I love reading off of my 770 with fbreader, it's great to
have a whole library in a little versatile device that I can carry
around with me.  Also the majohng that comes with it is fun.  Most
annoying feature is the handwriting recognition.  On the 770 it was
garbage, and I don't know if it has gotten any better.

Also, might want to wait around a bit, there was noise of a new
version with wimax:
