Hmmm... it looks like your link is bouncing up & down. I think Dan
& Carl were on the right track. Try a live CD, and if the same thing
happens (as I expect it will), you've probably got a hardware problem.
Try switching network ports in your switch if you have any to spare.
Try using a different NIC in your machine if you can. The good news
is that this appears to be happening frequently enough that it shouldn't
take long to determine if you've fixed (or at least affected) the problem.
