3Com has it's issues. Don't ask them how to do multicast in a large WAN environment. "It will do it, we just don't know how." (3 different level 3 techs and an engineer from 3Com) Also, warranty repairs are like pulling good teeth with 10' long tweezers. It happens, it is just painful and takes a long time. 8) I DO like the 3Com switches/routers though, even with those issues. Fairly easy to admin. Pretty stable in our environment as well with a low failure rate (500+ switches, a couple fail every quarter).

As Rod also mentioned, I was wondering what issues you have had with
3Com - the places that used 3Com were not that impressed either.
Craig - thank you for the info on HP ProCurve. After my experience
with their interview process, I am not impressed either.
