I've had zero luck getting etherboot to cooperate either (see original
post). Also note that the newer GIT builds of etherboot all produce > 32k
files :(.
While the flexibility of syslinux in a PXE or non PXE environment is indeed
awesome (where's iso boot support in pxe? grr) ... we wouldn't really need
that. Just a memdisk boot to our custom software.
