mayeb this will help. (but it only has to do with flash)
I couldnt get some of the flash movies from the internet to work.

so i got rid of "swfdec" in synaptic package manager, and kept only "gnash"

so if your problem is FLASH video related, try that

My install went smooth as prune juice and had no video problem (other than
flash not working)

P.S doesn't VLC media player totally rule all  ???? I submit that it does,
and should be used by all
