Nice, I wonder if you could stack elements of different octaves? of the wave
to increase reception.

I used a pair of these   http://martybugs.net/wireless/biquad/   for a 
temporary link (18 months or so) on a wireless bridge..   did some 
testing and had connectivity for little over 2.5 miles with standard 
d-link ap's and gave up because we had to find another pair of hills to 
test anything longer.
