[olug] OT: 5.8Ghz + microwave?

my solder joint breaks sometimes and i have to melt it back together.

also, i don't have a good way of mounting it right now. i just have it at
the top of a pole, but i'd like to make it more portable.

it gets a mile or two with line of sight, also depends on what it's hooked
up to.
