Funny, because Greg Kroah-Hartman, who is arguably the biggest driver
maintainer working on Linux says there is. When we writes patches that
change the API, he names the patches Driver API. There are books
documenting the API. You can write a kernel driver simply by reading
the books that document the API.

The FSF reports GPL violations on tons of code it does hold copyright
to. The FSF rants and raves about anything and everything. The FSF has
written declarations that Firefox is evil and not FOSS because it
allows you to load proprietary extensions! How dare an application
allow choice for their users! True freedom is the absense of choice,
or so the FSF would have you believe.

The FSF hasn't reported Nvidia for GPL violations because there is no
proof they have violated the GPL.

If you have proof, then please bring it forward.
