[olug] almost OT - HDD project anyone?

hey there.

i've got 6 250GB HD's with various problems.
i don't have the time to go through and troubleshoot them all.

if anyone would like to snag these up, drop me a line here, or off-list.

various partitioning formats (FATXB, NTFS, EXT3 with swap)
various brands/models (MDT-WD, WD, seagate, maxtor)
all IDE, (1-5400, 5-7200) - (ATA100, ATA133)

i just got a big shipment 750's, so spending a few hours working on these is
simply not appealing to me.

i'm not trying to get rich off broken shit, so i'll just give them away if i
don't get any cash offers.
i think 3 or 4 of them have compatable parts, so you should be able to
salvage something.
don't expect to find any juicy data on them. most of them came out of modded
xboxes.
the other two came out of servers that stream video.
