I have a location that goes through another location (ISP) that does content filtering. The ISP states that the original person at the location is using proxy servers to get around the filter. Problem is, it is not just this person haing problems with HTTPS sites, it is multiple people at the location. I am trying to eliminate the server as the proxy.
Is that making sense??

Using "netstat -lnp" will show the process that is listening on that port.
Are you suspecting a root-kit on your system, or did something get installed
that has proxy capabilities that you want to confirm are disabled? (Or
something else?)
