On that note, how well do NAS devices based on Windows Storage Server 2008
handle the Linux file permission & user/group scheme when serving via
NFS or iSCSI?  Do I need to stick with a Linux-based platform for this?
Appliances based on WSS2008 outnumber Linux-based appliances handily.
