You might want to update that page:
"Proposals are due by Tuesday, August 31, 2010."
That date seems a little strict for a 2011 conference. ;)
Omni Hotels Reservation Center here in town uses the Catalyst web framework (Perl) and Linux to power their website, which is booking $73 million in annual revenue. I'd be happy to lightning talk it for Infotec if that's OK with Omni.
