I had a good time at the meeting.
I was kind of surprised at how complicated and wonky it was compared to how
it is done with BSD. Load balancing is built into BSD's pf and you can use
CARP and pfsync for failover.

.....or you could be lazy and grab a copy of pfsense and go from empty
hardware to load balancing in about 15 minutes with its live cd and php
based ajaxified web gui for editing the config files.

Thanks Craig and Adam for the presentation, I enjoyed learning about the
Linux way to do it.
