Tom you used to be with Novia right? I think you helped me out with a customer issue a long while back. Is Novia now gone? Just curious..

Thanks,

Kenny

ARIN requires justification to hand out IP assignments and the process can be a real pain. We have a /19 and I think we pay somewhere around $2500 a year. IP's are getting very expensive on the open "market". We have had offers of $50,000+ to lease a block of our IP's (mostly because they are clean). Most upstreams won't give you more than a /28 without a lot of justification.

If you want to take a full routing table you will need a router with enough memory to handle that (a Gig of memory at least). The more upstreams you have the more memory you will need.
