[olug] NVidia and video corruption.

My new Mythbuntu combination front/back-end system is working well
except for one problem: when I try to play back videos they are
corrupted on the screen.

I can copy the files to another Linux system where they look fine.
The menus, desktop, terminals, etc on the front-end system are just
fine, just moving video is corrupted.

I upgraded from the Ubuntu stock NVidia driver to the latest driver -
290.10 - for my GeForce 8400 GS card, but no luck.

The corruption is very regular.  Colors off in vertical stripes about
10 pixels wide.  I can take a photo and post it somewhere if it helps.

Anyone have any thoughts?
