Or is that xrandr problem that about all distros appeared to have?
Xrandr --add --verbose
man xrandr
Google xrandr add display?
... I have used to get Linux to display resolutions that are not there for
some reason. If I find the Scripts I used for adding this in, I will post.
In Linux, I could do something about it., I have 19" monitors that are
hooked via KVM to identical HPDL380g4 machines. Win2008r2 and now Win2012
will Max out at 1024x768. I spent a heck of a great deal of time trying
adjust drivers. No luck.
So I use the Linux based HPdl380g4 machines connected to the same KVM to
connect to rdesktop to get 1280x1024 on windows.
