[olug] OT: Leaving Verizon? ...for Ting? Net10? Cricket? Other?

I've been using Ting for a little over a year now. The only down side I
can find is Sprint's coverage. The prices are good and the customer
service is awesome. I'm far from a power user, but I guess that's why
Ting is a good match for me. If you use lots of data, the cost savings
won't be as significant.

Ting does not subsidize the phones. The do sell used phones, but that's
a separate business, and their prices seem to be higher than what you
can find off eBay. I already had my Note 2 when we switched. We bought
my wife an S3 off eBay at a good price & activated it.
