I've been contacted by a company looking for some higher-end Linux admin/engineering work. 

Sounds like it's more of a three-step gig, 

one: setup new systems in new datacenter (soup to nuts, including hypervisor and physical switch config)

Two: migration of a few applications (primarily asterisk and lots of custom modules) to new datacenter/platform


Three: setup infrastructure monitoring and tend to the platform long-term.
