[olug] Looking into a career in Linux. Advice?

Run! :) Linux is great. Get experience with centos 5,6,7, rhel 5,6,7,
Debian, virtualization (VMware, Xen, etc), systemd, upstart, etc. Being
comfortable with Linux is a huge part of it.

See if you can get a job at a smaller company for a while to have
experience.
