[olug] mount cdrom

I _think_ I have it figured out.My mandrake's not recognizing my
cd-rom.It mentions it in dmesg but in /var/log/messages it says this
about it>>Mar 23 21:25:09 omhan1 kernel: ide-scsi: hdd: unsupported
command in request queue (0)...am I wrong here?If I am how can I get it
recognized in  linux?It's a ide cd-rw with scsi emulation for cd
burning.It has recognized it by itself during the install before.
