[olug] Newbie Question - KDE Screensavers

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried uninstall/reinstall of 
kdeartwork.

I also tried logging in under my wife's ID, and the situation is the same 
for her.  Ditto signing on as root.

This problem is trivial, but it just bugs me when things aren't working 
like they should.
