[olug] Knoppix(Debian) ethernet interface config?

every version of knoppix i have used would automatically try to do
dhcp for both wired & wireless.    of course it falls if the wlan
required wep/wpa keys.   Does ifconfig -a have both interfaces marked
as dynamic.
